This week, Irish voters are asked to vote on a proposal to change our Constitution to allow the Oireachtas to ratify the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic And Monetary Union.
In this Special Briefing, we provide information on the content of the Treaty and give some arguments for and against it from a social point of view. We also include, on the last page, proposals for a political way forward for Europe from a recent EAPN (Europe) briefing paper on the crisis.
