October 2017Submission on the Future of Europe
October 2017In its Submission to the consultation on the Future of Europe EAPN Ireland has asked that the EU must return to the values in its Treaties which are not about economic goals but about improving the quality of life of everyone living in the EU, while playing a positive role in the wider world. The EU must choose a future which is more sustainable with balanced social, environmental and economic goals as it has committed to under the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
