The European Anti-Poverty Network Ireland has over twenty years of experience in providing policy and advocacy training for a diverse range of audiences; including people who experience poverty and social exclusion, non-governmental organisations, community organisations and students in higher education. The sessions are customised to meet the needs of the audience and focus on primarily on European Social Policy and its implications for individuals, groups and society in Ireland. From time to time, training sessions will be provided on timely themes or issues, such as the Lisbon Treaty Referendum, the European Parliament Elections or the National Action Plans for Social Inclusion. EAPN Ireland also offers ‘train the trainer programmes’.
The European Anti-Poverty Network Ireland can coordinate or assist with;
- National or regional training sessions.
- Local sessions hosted by community groups.
- Inputs to training work by community groups.
If you would like to organise a training session with the assistance of EAPN Ireland, please contact our Policy and Support Worker, Paul Ginnell on firstname.lastname@example.org or on (01) 874 5737.
