Better Europe Alliance response to European Commission 2019 Report on Ireland
The Irish Better Europe Alliance has produced its Response to EU’s 2019 Country Report for Ireland. The EU report contains its annual analysis of how Ireland is performing on economic, social and environmental areas. The Response by the Alliance of 12 Irish civil society organisations working for a social and sustainable Europe covers a wide range of areas with proposals on how policy can work to bring about a better quality of life for everyone. The Response includes sections on climate change, investment, taxation and expenditure, poverty, the European Pillar of Social Rights, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, housing; early years education and care and school aged childcare, inclusive labour markets, wages and decent pay, education and health.
